The Momentum Ensemble are a group of dynamic young musicians from the Australian Youth Orchestra. The platform was created with the aim of democratising classical music with radical self-expression, unconventional scores and unexpected venues.
Our strategy was the same as the musicians – stretch the notes and bend the lines to change the way we see the music. This new movement led us to the name Momentum and a vibrant identity designed to be both iconic and interpretive. With the physical manifestation of the notes, easily configured in any location.
