Twenty-Two Group

Recently I was engaged to refresh the Twenty-Two Group brand and develop their website.

Twenty-Two Group is a construction consultancy founded by Wayne Elsom and Daniel Robertson, providing commercial management services and quantity surveying expertise.

Through a series of brand strategy workshops, we uncovered a vision and purpose for the business that allowed the founders to confidently articulate their ‘Why’, creating a renewed sense of energy.

It was clear when talking to Wayne and Dan, their diverse collective expertise has created a powerful union. Their values are born out of their unwavering focus to provide true value to their clients, always digging deep, going that extra mile, getting under the hood…however you want to express it, but delivering excellence and providing the best possible outcomes.

This insight led to the development of a strong creative platform of ‘True Depth’, to express their vision.

At the heart of the rebrand is a reimagined symbol and icon. With the creation of this symbol of the 22 name it represents collaboration, connection, the past, the present and depth of thinking. The supporting bespoke word mark grounds the symbol with a timeless modernity.

The new identity has modernised the colours, centering on a punchy citrus yellow with a deep navy. Illustration has been developed to express a change of perspective and depth of expression. The headline typography, Reckless Neue, is distinct and elegant in direct contrast with Saans which creates clarity and modernity.

The best thing about this journey is that Wayne, Dan and the broader Twenty-Two Group team are proud, excited and braver than ever to take the steps to deliver on their ambitions. They’re ready to take the business, culture and industry to the next level. There’s no stopping them now.
